Marie Taylor
Marie Taylor
Marie Taylor is an artist from Montana. She started her career in healthcare and has always expressed her creative side through many projects from clay to murals to jewelry. Soon her success led her to commit to her art in a full time capacity. Marie’s curiosity led her on a journey to meet many friends and mentors. Marie works in a variety of subjects and mediums, her favorite being encaustic and oil. She has a strong sense of space and design, she is able to transform her clients' spoken ideas into artistic reality.
Taylor is featured in local hospitals, restaurants, galleries and a garden center where she is the events and arts director. She curates the art at Roots Garden Center, which gives her the opportunity to advocate for local artists and help them be seen. MTaylor Studio is the name of Marie’s business, website, social media and where she teaches small group sessions.
Marie has been featured in local magazines, radio stations and paid events.

Painting Large Florals
I invite you to go with the flow of making a large-scale floral. The lesson is to show how we all tackle projects differently, maybe something in the way I go about this may be interesting, inspiring or if nothing else a look into a fellow artist's encaustic studio space. I also bring you along to the garden center for inspiration ideas. The end product in this demonstration is a large group of irises.
