Theresa Stirling

Theresa Stirling

Theresa Stirling slowly melts the top wax layers with a low-flame torch. The art slowly comes together with many thousands of brushstrokes and patience. She has found a fluency within this ancient-yet- modern medium that are some of the largest-scale installations out there, including ceiling murals. Stirling’s work is collected around the country.

Self-taught, with a previous marketing career and Econ degree, Stirling made a considered shift to a more creative life. Once bashful about being self-taught, and near-sighted, both are now her passport to take risks. Her work becomes soft-focus and is the result of a fearless approach to painting. Stirling is not afraid step into the unknown, forge new paths, and stay curious about the creative process and outcomes. She also combines cold wax with her encaustics for measured effect. Stirling strives, pouring every little detail into each art statement-piece. Theresa’s art and her brand mirror her lifestyle: curated and grounded, with a luxury feel. She enjoys being home, travel, paddleboarding and laughing with teens and rescue pets. Oh, and lots of good food and chocolate.

Portion of proceeds goes to animal shelters and food banks.
