Working in Encaustic Layers
In this online book which includes almost 120 minutes of video instruction, Michelle will demonstrate how you can safely and effectively use encaustic on paper, working in millimeter-thick layers of wax and mixed media. Many of your favorite encaustic techniques including intaglio wipes, collage, stencils, and inlay can be used in this process. The class includes a purposed step approach that is invaluable in deciding how to approach each layer and which materials are options to achieve the results you want and create a surface that has luminosity and depth.
